Our mission is to enlighten the membership and community about Africa and the Diaspora. We also present the many contributions of Africans to civilization by offering various educational opportunities including lectures, events, speakers, and travel.

  • Empowerment Ghana Trip discussion and photo sharing event – February 29th, 2020
  • Showing of the movie “Sankofa” – March 7th, 2020
  • 2020 Black History Month Documentary and Discussion series scheduled for the following Saturday in February – 1st, 15th, 22nd, and 29th. Topics and details to be shared in the Church bulletin.
  • African diaspora history educational event for children and youth of Empowerment – TBD Sunday in 2020
  • Kwanzaa 2020 youth event – TBD Sunday in December of 2020
